The family subsequently started to flee while being fired upon. Yarden, realizing she was unable to flee in time, surrendered and handed over her daughter to her husband in order to facilitate the escape of the others.

"We were very, very happy to see her," informs Gil.

However, as the armistice concludes, Gil becomes increasingly concerned about his cousin Carmel, who has yet to return home.

"We were very, very worried by the fact that the truce is ended," according to Gil. "I'm personally very worried for her."

Rachel informed her 17,000 Facebook followers on Wednesday, "I wanted to share with you what transpired last night when I awoke at 2:13 in the morning." "I started to think about how much pain Hersh must be in."

Rachel was informed by eyewitnesses that Hersh suffered a partial amputation of his limb subsequent to a grenade detonation preceding his abduction.

His family told the Los Angeles Times that witnesses observed the 23-year-old from California being loaded onto a truck with others who were removed from the Supernova festival.
