Manchester United is considered not to have an identity under Ralf Rangnick. The appearance of the Red Devils is still not consistent.

This was Manchester United's first defeat under Rangnick. The Red Devils have played 6 matches with the German manager, the other 3 wins and 2 draws.
Rangnick has changed formations at Manchester United several times. The 4-2-2-2 formation he brought into MU, he also had time to play 3-4-3 and 4-1-4-1 strategies.
Former Tottenham Hotspur player, Jamie Redknapp, who revealed that MU is still looking for the best formation under Rangnick's direction. MU is considered not to have players who match Rangnick's style of play.
"We talked about the manager coming into the game and he came up with this famous 4-2-2-2 system - it just didn't work," Redknapp told Skysports.
"When you come here you have to have the right players, it doesn't matter what system you play. Then he played with three at the back, today he played 4-4-2 and in the end, he created the system. There's no real identity to how they try to play," he added.
